Patient Usually Complains Of
Patient presents with specialized hand/wrist pathology (contracture, ligament tear, or advanced deformity). Reports weakness in grip/pinch and mechanical limitations.
Clinical Examination Findings
Physical examination of the shoulder reveals [positive/negative] apprehension test, [positive/negative] relocation test, and [positive/negative] load and shift test. Range of motion is [limited/full] with [pain/no pain] at [degree] of abduction/external rotation. Neurovascular status is intact distally.
Treatment Protocol
1. Specialized splinting (e.g., silver ring splint). 2. Hand Therapy referral. 3. Surgical planning (Release/Repair).
