Patient Usually Complains Of
Patient presents with [asymptomatic finding on imaging / vague epigastric discomfort / early satiety / intermittent hematemesis]. Symptoms are [chronic/acute] in nature. No history of weight loss, night sweats, or constitutional symptoms. Incidental finding of a submucosal gastric mass noted on [EGD / CT abdomen].
Clinical Examination Findings
Abdominal examination reveals [soft/distended] abdomen, non-tender to palpation. No palpable masses, organomegaly, or signs of peritoneal irritation. Bowel sounds are normoactive. Digital rectal exam negative for melena or occult blood.
Treatment Protocol
Management plan: [Observation with serial EGD / Endoscopic resection / Surgical wedge resection]. Patient counseled on the benign nature of the lesion. If symptomatic or increasing in size, surgical or endoscopic intervention is indicated. Follow-up EGD scheduled in [6/12] months to monitor lesion stability.
