Patient Usually Complains Of
Patient presents with specialized hand/wrist pathology (contracture, ligament tear, or advanced deformity). Reports weakness in grip/pinch and mechanical limitations.
Clinical Examination Findings
Shoulder examination reveals [tenderness location] tenderness, with painful arc of motion between [degrees] and [degrees]. Strength testing of the rotator cuff is [intact/weak] with [positive/negative] Neer and Hawkins-Kennedy impingement signs. Neurovascular status is intact distally.
Treatment Protocol
1. Specialized splinting (e.g., silver ring splint). 2. Hand Therapy referral. 3. Surgical planning (Release/Repair).
