Patient presents with gastrointestinal distress, including abdominal pain, nausea, and intermittent diarrhea. History significant for potential ingestion of contaminated food or water, or contact with intermediate hosts (cockroaches/beetles). Symptoms are chronic/recurrent. No history of recent travel to endemic areas, but reports exposure to rodent-infested environments.

No evidence of systemic toxicity or fever at time of exam. Stool analysis ordered for ova and parasite (O&P) identification.
Treatment Protocol
Pharmacological intervention initiated with Praziquantel (dosage adjusted per weight). Supportive care includes hydration and nutritional optimization. Follow-up stool examination scheduled for 2 and 4 weeks post-treatment to confirm clearance of M. moniliformis. Monitor for potential allergic reactions or adverse gastrointestinal effects.
