Patient Usually Complains Of
Patient presents with a localized, dull, aching pain in the right tibia, notably exacerbated at night and partially relieved by NSAIDs. No history of trauma, constitutional symptoms, or systemic illness. Pain duration is [insert duration], with no associated neurological deficits or functional impairment.
Clinical Examination Findings
Physical examination of the right lower extremity reveals localized tenderness over the anterior aspect of the tibia. No palpable mass, erythema, or warmth noted. Range of motion of the knee and ankle joints is full and painless. Neurovascular status is intact distally.
Treatment Protocol
Initial management includes a trial of scheduled NSAIDs for symptom control. Imaging (CT scan) confirms the nidus. Referral to orthopedic oncology for consideration of radiofrequency ablation (RFA) or surgical excision if symptoms persist or if there is a risk of pathological fracture.
